Instructional Designer

About the role

The Instructional Designer will shape learning content into measurable, high‑quality instructional solutions for the university. You will work closely with subject‑matter experts and faculty to ensure courses meet academic standards, accreditation requirements, and learner outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse learning needs, learner profiles, and performance gaps.
• Design course structures, learning pathways, and instructional blueprints.
• Write and align learning outcomes using Bloom's Taxonomy or equivalent frameworks.
• Develop formative and summative assessments, rubrics, and evaluation criteria.
• Translate subject‑matter expertise into structured instructional content.
• Ensure alignment with accreditation frameworks and quality standards.
• Collaborate with SMEs, faculty, and content developers to review and quality‑assure materials.
• Support adaptive and data‑driven learning models where applicable.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Sciences, or a related field.
• 4–7 years of experience in instructional design within higher education, corporate learning, or online learning environments.
• Strong grounding in learning theories and design models (ADDIE, Backward Design, Constructivism, etc.).
• Demonstrated experience in assessment design and learning‑outcome mapping.
