Instrument & Control Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Technician I-C is responsible for preventive, corrective and troubleshooting maintenance of plant instrumentation, process monitoring and control equipment at ADNOC Drilling’s Abu Dhabi facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Carry out routine and preventive maintenance, repair and testing of instrumentation and control equipment in line with SOPs.
• Participate in plant shutdown activities, ensuring timely completion of maintenance tasks.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, calibrate and test process control instruments and relay logic systems.
• Perform field and system modifications of control loops and update related plant drawings.
• Support upgrading and retrofitting of new control instruments to existing panels.

Required profile

• Technical Diploma or Secondary School Certificate with a vocational trade certificate in a relevant field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in instrument and control maintenance.

Required skills

• Preventive and corrective maintenance of process instrumentation.
• Instrument calibration and testing.
• Troubleshooting of relay logic and control loops.
• Ability to read and update plant drawings and change requests.
