Interface Engineer – EPC Projects

About the role

The Interface Engineer will develop and maintain interface management plans for complex EPC projects, ensuring seamless coordination between disciplines, contractors and stakeholders. This role supports the delivery of major Energy, Marine, Infrastructure and Defense projects in the Al Dhafra Region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain interface management plans, matrices and registers to track and resolve interface issues.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and vendors to define interface requirements and deliverables.
• Conduct regular interface meetings and workshops to align stakeholders and mitigate schedule risks.
• Monitor interface deliverables, milestones and dependencies, integrating them into project schedules and budgets.
• Review engineering drawings and specifications for compliance with interface standards.
• Identify, escalate and manage interface‑related risks and opportunities.
• Coordinate site visits and data exchange with ADNOC operations.
• Support NOC application processes and follow‑up with planning and project coordination teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in interface management or project engineering, preferably in the oil & gas sector.
• Experience on ADNOC projects is a strong advantage.
