Interior Designer

About the role

A full-time Interior Designer is sought to design and execute interior design projects that meet clients' needs and expectations. The role covers concept development, client collaboration, detailed planning and project coordination.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and present interior design concepts, including mood boards, renderings and material selections.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and provide professional advice and recommendations.
• Create detailed plans, including layouts, elevations and detailed drawings.
• Select and specify furniture, fixtures and equipment (FF&E).
• Manage project timelines, budgets and resources so projects finish on time and within budget.
• Coordinate with architects, contractors and other professionals, and conduct site visits to check implementation.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, materials and new technologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in interior design.
• Strong knowledge of design principles, materials and finishes.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, and strong project management skills for handling several projects at once.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and regulations, LEED certification or experience with sustainable design are a plus.

• AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit and Adobe Creative Suite.
