Interior Designer – Retail Showroom

About the role

The Interior Designer will shape the visual presentation of IKEA's product range within the furniture showroom. Working on‑site in Dubai, you will ensure the showroom meets IKEA standards while delivering inspiring home‑furnishing solutions to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Plan in‑house projects and create drawings/perspectives following the IKEA concept.
• Implement and maintain all interior displays and furnishings in the showroom.
• Conduct daily inspections, promptly correcting any damages.
• Support the store’s commercial calendar planning and execution.
• Maintain all store areas in line with IKEA standards and manuals.
• Assist Visual Merchandisers on store projects and activities.
• Present customers with coordinated range extensions, ideas, and proposals for various rooms.
• Design and decorate inspirational room sets and provide tailored home‑furnishing solutions.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD with strong drafting abilities.
• Good knowledge of home‑furnishing trends, market dynamics, and fashion.
