Internal Audit Manager – Business Audit & Forensics

About the role

Bybit is looking for an experienced Internal Audit Manager to lead business audit engagements and forensic investigations across its global operations. The role combines audit expertise with investigative rigor to evaluate control environments, uncover irregularities, and support a transparent, high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and execute end‑to‑end risk‑based audit engagements across operational, financial and business functions.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, identifying gaps, policy breaches and inefficiencies.
• Prepare clear audit reports that detail findings, root causes, business impact and actionable recommendations for management and the Board.
• Monitor remediation progress and ensure timely closure of audit issues.
• Lead or support fraud investigations, ethics violations and whistleblower cases, including evidence collection, interview planning and forensic analysis of financial transactions.
• Conduct deep‑dive analyses of suspicious activity, trace transaction flows and document evidence for management decisions or regulatory disclosure.
• Collaborate with Legal, HR and Compliance while maintaining strict confidentiality and chain‑of‑custody protocols.

Required profile

• Proven experience in internal audit, preferably within financial services, fintech or cryptocurrency.
• Demonstrated ability to lead complex audit projects and forensic investigations.
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a results‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills to present findings to senior leadership and the Board.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of audit methodologies and control assessment techniques.
• Experience with forensic investigation processes and evidence handling.
• Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks in the financial sector.
