International eCommerce Development Manager

About the role

An established sportswear and lifestyle brand with an international customer base is expanding its digital commerce team in Dubai. You will develop the brand's online business outside France, creating market-specific plans that deliver profitable growth. The role combines commercial ownership, localisation, country activation and cross-border operations, with responsibility for international revenue and margin targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the international eCommerce growth plan and prioritise countries by commercial potential and profitability.
• Own revenue and margin targets for international markets on the brand's online store.
• Localise pricing, duties and taxes, payment methods, delivery options, promotions and content.
• Work with the cross-border eCommerce partner to improve checkout, shipping and returns.
• Build country activation plans with the paid media agency and CRM team.
• Adapt assortments and commercial calendars to local seasons, events and sizing preferences.
• Analyse traffic, conversion, average order value, returns and margin by country.
• Identify new market opportunities and prepare recommendations for expansion.
• Use AI tools to support content localisation, market analysis and campaign preparation.

Required profile

• At least four years of eCommerce experience, including demonstrable international or cross-border sales development.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Ability to coordinate internal teams and external partners while taking ownership of commercial outcomes.
• Advantageous: fashion, sportswear or lifestyle brands; experience developing markets such as the US, Germany, Spain or Italy.

Required skills

• Strong commercial and analytical skills, including P&L, pricing, conversion and market-level profitability.
• Sound understanding of cross-border duties, taxes, payments and logistics.
• Practical experience using AI tools to improve analysis, localisation or campaign workflows.
• Advantageous: Shopify and a cross-border solution such as Global-e.
