International Emerging Stores FP&A Finance Manager

About the role

Amazon is seeking an experienced FP&A Finance Manager to support the International Emerging Stores (IES) business across Latam, MENA, APAC and India. You will act as the primary financial partner, delivering insight, controls and strategic guidance to help the business achieve its objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the go‑to FP&A contact for the IES business.
• Develop financial models, provide analytical support and validate financial and operational results.
• Maintain high‑level financial controls and data integrity.
• Lead month‑end close activities and OPEX/headcount planning cycles.
• Own controllership of IES store OPEX, analyze variances and drive corrective action plans.
• Partner with Payments, Customer Service, Operations, Bad Debts, Prime and Marketing teams on variance analysis.
• Drive automation and simplify processes.
• Orchestrate the full planning process, from assumptions to system load and data checks.
• Produce accurate, insightful financial reports.
• Identify opportunities to apply global standards and shift repetitive tasks to global teams.
• Develop financial skills across the organization and build talent inside and outside Finance.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in tax, finance or a related analytical field.
• 5+ years of finance experience, or a Master’s degree with 3+ years of finance experience.
• Proven track record of leading continuous‑improvement projects with measurable results.
• Experience identifying data issues, root‑causing them and implementing escalation plans.
• Demonstrated ability to mentor junior finance or business team members.
