International Private Residence Butler

About the role

ACS Group is seeking an experienced, service-oriented Butler for a private residence, supporting the family across London, Dubai and Cyprus. This is a senior private position for someone who understands the standards of exceptional personal service, anticipates the needs of the Principals and keeps every residence at the highest standard of comfort, presentation and operational readiness. The role combines traditional butler service with strong organizational and staff-coordination skills, and requires international travel with the family.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver discreet, personalized service to family members and guests, and coordinate luggage, packing, unpacking and inventories of personal belongings.
• Arrange arrivals, transfers and travel requirements; coordinate with the private chef on menus and product sourcing, and recommend wellness services and premium experiences.
• Coordinate housekeepers, gardeners, technicians and other household staff with the House Manager, allocate tasks, monitor performance and help with scheduling.
• Inspect residences for cleanliness and presentation, and monitor household systems such as heating, air conditioning, ventilation, electricity and water.
• Maintain inventories of supplies and linens, coordinate contractors and report issues to the House Manager.
• Assist with opening and closing residences, and accompany the family on all trips, coordinating travel logistics, meals and wellness arrangements.
• Make advance visits to prepare residences and stay after departures to oversee property closure and security.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Butler, Senior Butler or in a comparable senior private household service position.
• Experience in large private residences (ideally 800 m² or more) with high service standards and multiple household staff.
• Excellent knowledge of professional butler service and private household operations.
• Strong organizational, coordination and staff supervision skills.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and work a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off rotation; occasional advance travel and extended stays may be required.

Required skills

• Familiarity with modern home technology, smart-home systems and residential engineering is desirable.
• Exceptional attention to detail, emotional intelligence, tact and discretion.
