International Tax Senior Manager

About the role

Avtra is seeking an International Tax Senior Manager to join its dedicated Pillar 2 team. You will help multinational clients understand and comply with the new Pillar 2 rules, translating complex technical requirements into practical business solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice on how Pillar 2 regulations affect clients’ domestic and cross‑border operations.
• Conduct technical analyses of rule applications, identify data requirements, and guide data extraction processes.
• Assist clients in determining jurisdictions where compliance obligations arise.
• Contribute to thought‑leadership initiatives and help shape the firm’s global tax positions.
• Support team innovation, improve ways of working, and mentor junior staff.

Required profile

• Proven experience in international tax, preferably with exposure to Pillar 2 or similar multi‑jurisdictional frameworks.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate technical tax concepts into actionable business advice.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with diverse, global teams.
• Commitment to ethical standards and the firm’s code of conduct.
