Investigation Officer

About the role

The Investigation Officer supports prosecutors by managing electronic case files, verifying documentation, and assisting with courtroom and investigative procedures. This position ensures that criminal case files are complete, accurate, and ready for legal action.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and review electronic case files and attachments before forwarding to prosecutors.
• Present criminal case files, including seizures, to specialized prosecution members.
• Open investigation reports and confirm statements, documents, photos, and seized items.
• Print and prepare various legal dispositions such as referral orders, detention orders, bail, and summons.
• Record attendance of summoned individuals and manage seizure handling under prosecutor supervision.
• Accompany prosecutors to crime scenes, police stations, and detention facilities.
• Monitor detention orders, track expiration dates, and follow up on technical reports.
• Organize appointments, correspondence, and contacts for prosecutors.
• Coordinate with police stations and penal institutions to request detainee information.
• Attend weekend, holiday, and extension sessions with prosecutors.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Law.
• Completed mandatory military service.
• Male candidates only.
• UAE nationality.
