iOS Engineer

About the role

Packz is a gamified collectibles platform looking for an iOS Engineer to help launch and grow its consumer app. You’ll work closely with the founders and engineering team to ship high‑quality features quickly and shape the mobile experience for a fast‑growing user base.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and ship new features for the Packz iOS app from concept to release.
• Own user‑facing experiences such as pack discovery, purchasing, opening, collection, wallet, and redemption.
• Write clean, performant Swift code using SwiftUI and modern iOS patterns.
• Leverage AI‑assisted tools (Cursor, Claude Code, Codex) to accelerate development and improve code quality.
• Collaborate with founders, design, and backend teams to turn product ideas into polished mobile experiences.
• Identify and proactively fix product rough edges, test thoroughly, and maintain a high quality bar as the app scales.

Required profile

• Strong passion for building consumer mobile apps and a track record of delivering iOS applications.
• Ability to move quickly, learn independently, and thrive with limited structure.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to work closely with cross‑functional teammates.
