About the role

The Islamic Studies Teacher will deliver inspiring lessons to students at Mubarak Bin Mohammed Cycle 2 Charter School for the academic year 2025‑2026. The role involves collaborating with colleagues, parents and support staff to create a positive learning environment and achieve the best possible outcomes for pupils.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and present engaging Islamic Studies lessons that cater to the full ability range.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain an encouraging learning atmosphere.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and use data to inform future planning.
• Work closely with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff and external professionals such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.
• Communicate regularly with parents, providing feedback at conferences and meetings.
• Implement the school’s behaviour policy, manage classroom dynamics and act as a positive role model.
