About the role

American Gulf School is seeking an inspiring Islamic Studies Teacher to join its growing faculty. The role involves delivering high‑quality Islamic education to students from Pre‑KG through Grade 12, while fostering a supportive and engaging learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver Islamic Studies lessons in line with the school’s curriculum and IB framework where applicable.
• Integrate appropriate technology tools to enhance classroom instruction.
• Engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student progress.
• Contribute to the school’s academic excellence initiatives and extracurricular activities.
• Maintain accurate records and assess student performance regularly.

Required profile

• Proven track record of excellent teaching and pedagogical practices.
• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in an American or IB school.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Creative, innovative, and dedicated to student success.
• Master’s degree preferred.
