Islamic Studies Teacher – Immediate Start

About the role

Al Rayana Charter School is seeking an enthusiastic Islamic Studies Teacher to join its primary campus in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons that inspire students to achieve their best outcomes and support the school’s vision of a sustainable, innovative learning community.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver Islamic Studies lessons for mixed‑gender primary classes, catering to a full ability range.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers to design curriculum‑aligned activities and share best practices.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment and manage behaviour in line with the school policy.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student achievement and wellbeing.
• Work with specialist staff such as speech therapists or educational psychologists when required.
