IT Engineer / IT Officer

About the role

We are seeking a proactive and technically capable IT Engineer / IT Officer to support the technology setup and ongoing IT operations of a newly established company in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Support the setup and implementation of the company's IT infrastructure and systems from the initial stage.
• Manage day-to-day IT operations, hardware, software, networks, and user support.
• Troubleshoot technical, network, hardware, and software issues.
• Support the implementation of digital solutions and emerging technologies.
• Explore and introduce AI tools, automation, and technology solutions that improve business efficiency.
• Collaborate on software development, programming, and system integration initiatives where required.
• Maintain IT security, access controls, backups, and system reliability.
• Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions based on business requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, hardware, and software.
• Experience or exposure to AI, programming, software development, or emerging technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of IT requirements.
• Proactive mindset with the ability to introduce new ideas and digital solutions.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
