IT Executive – Network & Systems Support

About the role

The IT Executive will ensure the reliability and performance of the company’s IT infrastructure. This hands‑on role covers network systems, servers, cloud platforms and end‑user support, providing timely technical assistance to keep business operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Configure, install and maintain networking hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot connectivity, performance and security issues, delivering prompt resolutions.
• Monitor network health, optimise performance and participate in capacity planning.
• Manage VLANs, subnets, IP routing, VPNs and both LAN and WAN environments.
• Set up and maintain cloud‑based and on‑premise servers, including database storage systems.
• Support network security by handling firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and VPN configurations.
• Document configurations, procedures and troubleshooting steps.
• Provide on‑site and remote assistance for end‑users facing network‑related problems.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in IT support, networking and system administration.
• Hands‑on experience configuring and troubleshooting MacBook devices.
• Strong problem‑solving, documentation and communication abilities.
• Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary IT team.
