IT Infrastructure Manager (FMCG Background)

About the role

Black Pearl is partnering with a well-established organization in the UAE to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Operations Manager. The role leads enterprise-wide IT operations, infrastructure management, cybersecurity governance and service delivery across several business locations. It suits a senior IT professional who enjoys managing enterprise infrastructure environments and improving operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage enterprise IT infrastructure (servers, virtualization, storage, networking, endpoints), ensuring high availability, scalability and performance
• Oversee backup solutions, disaster recovery planning and business continuity; manage lifecycle planning, upgrades and modernization
• Manage network architecture (LAN, WAN, SD-WAN, VPN, firewalls) and work with telecom providers and vendors
• Implement cybersecurity policies, run vulnerability assessments, risk analysis, security audits and incident response, and ensure identity and access management
• Lead IT operations and support, manage incident, problem and change management, ensure SLA compliance and drive automation and process improvements
• Prepare operational reports, dashboards and management presentations

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure, IT operations, network administration, cybersecurity and enterprise IT support
• Proven experience managing enterprise IT infrastructure projects and multi-site environments
• Experience in FMCG, manufacturing, distribution, retail or other multi-location organizations is highly preferred
• Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills

Required skills

• Hands-on experience with VMware, Hyper-V or similar virtualization technologies
• Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, VPNs, firewalls and SD-WAN
• ITSM frameworks and operational governance
• Monitoring and endpoint management tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, BigFix, ManageEngine, SCCM or Intune
