About the role
The IT Service Desk Technician will be the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance, providing 24/7 telephone and email support. You will resolve incidents, handle service requests, and ensure high-quality customer service.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain full availability of Service Desk telephone and email support 24/7/365.
- Log, resolve or escalate incidents and service requests using the service desk tool.
- Perform remote troubleshooting and determine appropriate solutions.
- Record events, problems, and resolutions in logs and keep customers updated.
- Identify and suggest procedural improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent telecom engineering qualification.
- 1-3 years of solid experience in a telecom environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a 24 × 7 × 365 environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic is a plus.
- Excellent multitasking, prioritisation and follow‑through abilities.
Required skills
- Proficiency with HP Service Management tool.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
