IT Site Manager

About the role

The IT Site Manager is accountable for all technology services on a construction or project site. You will ensure that connectivity, devices, applications and audiovisual solutions reliably support daily operations, delivery schedules and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the primary IT contact for the site and represent IT in leadership meetings.
• Own and maintain site connectivity, including internet circuits, Wi‑Fi, local networks and mobile links.
• Coordinate with telco providers, ISPs and vendors for installations, fault resolution and upgrades.
• Manage on‑site engineers and contractors, ensuring timely delivery of IT services.
• Oversee asset management, device onboarding/off‑boarding and lifecycle processes.
• Maintain accurate documentation, diagrams and inventories for the site.
• Plan, communicate and obtain approval for all IT changes on site.
• Ensure compliance with security policies, ITIL processes and central governance.
• Collaborate with central Infrastructure, EUC, Cloud and Service teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in construction site management or site‑based IT leadership.
• Proven ability to operate independently and make decisions on a busy construction site.
• Experience coordinating external vendors and managing IT engineers.
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Safety‑conscious and comfortable working in a construction environment.

Required skills

• ITIL 4 Foundation certification.
• Network infrastructure and connectivity management (internet circuits, Wi‑Fi, LAN).
• Device lifecycle and asset management.
• Cloud‑based collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft 365, Teams).
• Basic IT security and compliance knowledge.
