IT Support Engineer

About the role

Binghatti, a fast‑growing property developer in the UAE, is looking for an IT Support Engineer to provide first‑ and second‑line technical assistance to its employees. The role ensures that hardware, software and network services run smoothly, minimizing downtime and supporting business continuity.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver first and second line support for hardware, software and networking issues.
• Install, configure and maintain desktops, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.
• Manage software installations, updates and license compliance.
• Monitor system performance, perform routine checks and proactively address potential problems.
• Create and manage user accounts, permissions and access rights.
• Log, track and resolve incidents and service requests using an IT service management tool.
• Maintain accurate documentation of issues, solutions and system configurations.
• Provide basic training and guidance to employees on IT usage and security protocols.
• Escalate complex issues to senior staff or external vendors and collaborate with other IT teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar IT support role.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT Applications, Computer Science or a related field.

Required skills

• Hardware troubleshooting and maintenance.
• Software installation, updates and license management.
• System monitoring and performance optimization.
• User account management (e.g., Active Directory).
• Familiarity with IT service management tools.
