IT Support Engineer

About the role

GS IT, a Dubai-based IT company, is hiring an experienced IT Support Engineer for a full-time, permanent position. The candidate should have 2 to 4 years of experience in the UAE. The role acts as the main contact between the company and its customers.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary liaison between the company and multiple customers.
• Provide remote support available 24/7.
• Work under pressure and prioritize tasks by urgency and importance.

Required profile

• Valid UAE driving licence.
• Below 30 years old.
• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or equivalent.
• Good communication and time-management skills; critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Motivation to learn new skills and technologies.

Required skills

• Good work experience in IT security, backup scenarios and disaster recovery solutions.
• Understanding of Windows servers, virtualization and cloud services.
• An additional certification in Microsoft, Linux, Cisco or similar technologies is a plus.
