IT Support Engineer – Operations Tech (UAE)

About the role

Amazon is looking for an IT Support Engineer to join its Operations Technology team in the United Arab Emirates. You will act as the face of IT for a fulfillment centre, delivering world‑class service to internal customers and ensuring all IT equipment runs at peak performance.

Key responsibilities

• Own health and safety compliance for all IT activities.
• Install, maintain and support Windows, macOS and Linux workstations and related IT equipment.
• Manage asset inventory and coordinate with third‑party vendors and contractors.
• Maximise equipment availability through proactive and preventative maintenance.
• Provide first‑line support to meet site KPIs and SLAs, both on‑site and for remote locations.
• Assist senior engineers on projects, conduct equipment trials and testing.
• Work in shifts and adapt to occasional schedule changes.

Required profile

• Minimum 1 year of corporate experience supporting Windows, macOS or Linux operating systems.
• Strong customer‑focus with the ability to communicate technical issues clearly.
• Willingness to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment.
