IT Support Specialist (UAE National Preferred)

About the role

We are looking for an IT Support Specialist to join the Infrastructure & Support Section of Royal Jet in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on maintaining the integrity, security and performance of the company’s IT environment while delivering high‑quality user support in line with service level agreements.

Key responsibilities

• Own the IT Service Desk, ensuring tickets are logged, assigned and resolved within SLA for both Tier 1 and Tier 2 support.
• Provide on‑site and remote desktop assistance, configure and deploy computers and mobile devices, and maintain asset inventory and imaging standards.
• Monitor and troubleshoot IT components at data centres, offices and off‑site locations, including weekend and out‑of‑hours visits.
• Support events and exhibitions by preparing and managing IT setups on‑site.
• Collaborate with other support officers to achieve Service Desk KPI targets and provide 24/7 duty coverage.
• Document all actions in the ticketing system and escalate issues according to defined processes.

Required profile

• UAE national preferred.
• Proven experience in Tier 1/Tier 2 desktop support or help‑desk environments.
• Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to handle multiple tickets simultaneously.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including on‑call and weekend duties.

Required skills

• Desktop support (Windows operating systems).
• Asset configuration, imaging and inventory management.
• Use of IT Service Desk/ticketing tools.
• Basic networking and troubleshooting of IT hardware.
