IT System Administrator

About the role

We are looking for an experienced IT System Administrator to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The role involves ensuring the reliability, security and performance of our server and network infrastructure that supports critical client operations and citizen data.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure and maintain servers, network devices, operating systems and data storage solutions.
• Implement and manage cybersecurity controls including firewalls, endpoint protection, backup solutions, and patch management.
• Develop and execute backup, disaster recovery and business continuity procedures for critical systems.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot incidents and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with other IT teams to support client operations and ensure compliance with security policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a System Administrator.
• Proven experience managing servers, networks and data storage in a corporate environment.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity best practices and disaster recovery planning.
