IT Technician / Senior Officer (Emirati Talent)

About the role

We are looking for a qualified IT Technician to join our campus and provide reliable technical support to staff and students. The role involves maintaining the day‑to‑day operation of our IT infrastructure in a dynamic educational environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first‑line IT support to staff and students.
• Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot campus IT systems on a daily basis.
• Manage IT inventory, documentation, and software licences.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors for service delivery.
• Support the integration of IT tools across the curriculum and learning spaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety, data‑protection, and institutional policies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT support and operations.
• Relevant IT certifications (e.g., MCSE, CCNA; Apple Support certifications are a plus).
• Experience in an educational setting is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Windows 8/10 and Windows Server environments.
• macOS and iOS support.
• PC and Mac hardware, peripherals, and application troubleshooting.
• Microsoft Active Directory (delegated domain administration).
• LAN networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and routing protocols.
• Network, systems, and server troubleshooting.
• Audio & video conferencing systems and IP telephony.
• Installation, testing, and maintenance of software and IT equipment.
