IVF Case Manager

About the role

The IVF Case Manager will oversee the hospital case management process for fertility patients, ensuring accurate clinical information is communicated promptly to minimise financial risk for Mediclinic. This role acts as a liaison between patients, clinicians, and insurers, supporting high‑quality documentation and claim justification. The successful candidate will also contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance the efficiency of the IVF service line.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate patient care plans to reduce financial exposure for the organisation.
• Maintain high‑quality clinical documentation and ensure compliance with coding standards.
• Provide clinical expertise for insurance claim submissions, supplying appropriate medical justifications.
• Drive continuous improvement of documentation quality and processes.
• Ensure timely communication of clinical updates to insurers and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Nursing, Medicine or a related health field (essential).
• At least 3 years of experience in clinical, insurance, medical auditing or coding, with a minimum of 1 year in UAE healthcare.
• Experience in theatre or ICU settings is desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency in applying clinical codes (ICD‑10‑CM, CPT, DRG).
• Strong computer literacy, especially MS Office and Electronic Health Record systems.
• Understanding of healthcare revenue cycle management and billing processes.
• Knowledge of patient administration systems and the typical hospital patient journey.
