Java Backend Engineer (Spring Boot)

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Java Backend Engineer to design, develop, and maintain high‑performance back‑end services and APIs using Spring Boot. The role focuses on delivering secure, reliable, and well‑tested solutions for our banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and support Java back‑end services and RESTful APIs.
• Apply Test‑Driven Development (TDD) and write comprehensive JUnit test cases with at least 80% code coverage.
• Implement middleware services end‑to‑end and handle platform/hosting support functionality.
• Conduct penetration testing and apply security measures to protect user data and application integrity.
• Analyze requirements, formalize technical approaches, and ensure bug‑free releases.

Required profile

• 5‑10 years of professional experience in Java back‑end development.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate within a team.
• Proactive attitude toward learning new technologies and improving processes.
