Java Software Engineer – Credit – Relocate to Poland, Spain or UAE

About the role

Revolut is looking for a Backend Engineer specialized in Java to join its Credit team. The position offers relocation to Poland, Spain or the UAE, with full support and the option to work remotely or in a hybrid model from offices in Krakow, Barcelona, Madrid or Dubai. You will be involved in the entire feature lifecycle, delivering clean, maintainable code using modern engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Design and build mobile‑focused APIs.
• Develop and maintain micro‑services that evolve Revolut’s architecture.
• Implement and improve core systems such as risk management, fraud detection and payment processing.
• Focus on greenfield development as well as refactoring existing services.

Required profile

• Fluency in Java with 6+ years of backend development experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or a related field.
• Quick learner with an ambitious, results‑driven attitude.
• Strong teamwork, communication and organisational skills.
• Fluent English.
