JavaScript Developer (Next.js & NestJS)

About the role
We are looking for an experienced JavaScript Developer to lead the design and implementation of end‑to‑end features across both frontend and backend. The role requires deep expertise in Next.js and NestJS, as well as the ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate with product owners.
Key responsibilities
- Architect and deliver scalable, secure, and maintainable full‑stack solutions using Next.js (App Router, Server Components) and NestJS.
- Design sophisticated database schemas, optimise complex queries, and ensure data integrity across SQL and NoSQL stores.
- Conduct rigorous code reviews, establish engineering best practices, and mentor junior and mid‑level developers.
- Implement advanced security protocols (OAuth, JWT, rate limiting) and comprehensive testing suites (unit, integration, E2E).
Required profile
- 5+ years of professional software development experience in full‑stack JavaScript/TypeScript environments.
- Proven ability to design distributed systems, handle high‑concurrency challenges, and optimise performance at scale.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent senior‑level industry experience.
