Joinery Production Manager

About the role

M Qube Interiors Carpentry LLC is a Dubai-based interior fit-out and joinery company delivering residential, commercial, retail and corporate projects. It is looking for a Joinery Production Manager to lead workshop operations and coordinate production with project, design, procurement and site teams so that custom furniture and joinery meet approved specifications, schedules and quality standards. This is an on-site leadership role.

Key responsibilities

• Plan daily and weekly workshop workloads, allocate labor and machinery and monitor production against project deadlines.
• Review drawings, specifications and cutting lists, and coordinate clarifications and revisions with draftsmen and project teams.
• Oversee material planning, cutting, assembly, finishing and quality inspections for bespoke joinery and furniture.
• Ensure accurate measurements, efficient material use, safe equipment operation and compliance with workshop procedures.
• Coordinate procurement needs, stock levels, maintenance and subcontracted work to avoid delays.
• Track output, rework, waste and delivery readiness, fix quality issues and improve processes.
• Guide supervisors and production staff, support skills development and coordinate packing and dispatch with site teams.

Required profile

• Strong experience managing joinery, carpentry or custom furniture workshop production.
• Ability to interpret architectural and shop drawings, material schedules, specifications and cutting lists.
• Production planning skills: labor allocation, sequencing, capacity management and deadline tracking.
• Quality-control ability focused on dimensions, workmanship, finish and approved samples.
• Understanding of materials, hardware, procurement coordination, inventory control and waste reduction.
• Team leadership, communication and coordination with draftsmen, project managers and site teams.
• Commitment to workshop safety, equipment care, organized records and continuous improvement.

Required skills

• Working knowledge of woodworking machinery, fabrication methods, assembly, veneer, laminates and finishing processes.
• Ability to read architectural and shop drawings and cutting lists.
