Junior Accountant - Accounts Payable

About the role
A detail-oriented Junior Accountant is sought to join the Accounts Payable team. The role covers daily payable transactions, resolving discrepancies and ensuring compliance with VAT and audit requirements.
Key responsibilities
- Book Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) accurately in the Infor system, validate GRNs in Oracle and book the corresponding payment entries.
- Upload payment files and route them to the right stakeholders for approval.
- Reconcile vendor accounts regularly using SOA.
- Process club membership refunds, Full and Final (F&F) settlements and outstanding payments, following up with the Procurement department until they are closed out.
- Maintain the daily payment tracker and generate delayed payment reports.
- Ensure invoices are fully VAT compliant and supply samples and supporting documentation for VAT returns.
- Provide accurate data for internal and external audits and VAT filing, and supply physical documents to auditors within two days of request.
