Junior Accountant – Dubai

About the role

The Junior Accountant will join SEGULA Technologies' Finance Shared Services Centre in Dubai, reporting directly to the Finance Shared Services Centre Manager. The role focuses on managing and reporting the company’s financial data, supporting month‑end close, and assisting with audits.

Key responsibilities

• Post purchase invoices, employee expense claims and obtain required approvals.
• Update bank records and prepare bank reconciliation statements.
• Post sales invoices, control settlements with customers and reconcile transactions.
• Analyze financial information and summarise the financial status according to business needs.
• Prepare periodic reconciliations of inter‑company, vendor and customer balances.
• Assist with periodic account closing and ensure compliance with IFRS and local accounting standards.
• Support internal controls, liaise with other finance functions and aid the annual audit.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting and financial processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures, IFRS standards and local tax rules.
• Strong analytical abilities, attention to detail and high integrity.
• Ability to organise and meet accounting and tax deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Excel.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets.
• Experience with accounting software and its administration.
