Junior Accountant – Multi‑currency & QuickBooks

About the role

Our client, a fast‑growing global firm, is looking for a detail‑oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations. You will work with multi‑currency transactions and a suite of modern finance tools in a dynamic financial services environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily bookkeeping and data entry, recording invoices, receipts, payments and other financial transactions.
• Support bank and account reconciliations across multi‑currency accounts and monitor cash movements.
• Assist in maintaining the general ledger and posting journal entries.
• Help with month‑end and year‑end close tasks, preparing supporting schedules.
• Contribute to investor performance reporting under senior guidance.
• Support external audit and tax processes by gathering documentation and preparing schedules.
• Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS.
• Organise and file supporting documentation for audits and tax filings.
• Keep records up‑to‑date in QuickBooks, Xero, Airtable, Joiin, Excel/Google Sheets and flag discrepancies.
• Provide general administrative and ad‑hoc analytical support to the finance team.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA licence in good standing.
• Experience handling multi‑currency entities with monthly asset volumes of USD 3‑5 million.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
