Junior Architect – Emiratisation

About the role

Join ALEC’s digital engineering team as a Junior Architect and support BIM modelling, drawing production, and multidisciplinary coordination on high‑profile projects across the UAE.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and coordinate BIM models in line with project requirements.
• Produce, review, and manage detailed shop drawings and as‑built drawings.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve design issues.
• Review tender documents and IFC drawings to identify discrepancies.
• Prepare and submit RFIs with accuracy.
• Track and manage shop‑drawing submissions and approvals.
• Ensure compliance with BIM standards and workflows (ISO 19650, BS 8666).
• Work within shared collaboration environments such as BIM 360 / ACC.
• Support continuous improvement of BIM processes and project delivery.

Required profile

• Diploma in Architecture (bachelor’s degree is a plus).
• 2+ years overall experience, including at least 1 year of GCC site experience.
• Basic proficiency in BIM 360, ACC, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and MS Office.
• Strong understanding of BIM modelling, processes, and workflows.
• Ability to review technical drawings, identify errors, and communicate effectively.
• Detail‑oriented, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
