Junior Buyer – Gymshark Brand

About the role

As a Junior Buyer you will support the buying lead in managing the Gymshark brand portfolio for Al Tayer Insignia. You will be responsible for sourcing high‑quality merchandise, negotiating advantageous terms and driving sales through effective assortment planning.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a deep understanding of Gymshark market trends and department performance.
• Collaborate with the senior Buyer and line manager to define product strategy and build the right assortment.
• Incorporate store team and customer feedback to refine the range.
• Present performance insights and analysis to the VP of Buying and Head of Buying.
• Research industry trends, approach new brands, and maintain regular communication with suppliers.
• Assist with ordering, delivery, and payment processes to minimise queries.
• Select suppliers that offer the best quality at the best price to maximise profit margins.
• Control merchandise selection within agreed markdowns and stock levels, place re‑orders as needed, and keep vendor agreement records up to date.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in buying, merchandising or related retail functions.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with internal teams and external suppliers.
