About the role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Chef with a focus on butchery and fishmongery to join a prestigious 5‑star luxury hotel. You will work alongside experienced chefs, supporting the preparation of high‑quality meat and fish for a demanding guest portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, cut, and portion meat and fish according to hotel standards and chef specifications.
• Handle and store products safely to maintain freshness and comply with health‑safety regulations.
• Assist in weighing, packaging, and labeling meat and fish items for kitchen use.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure timely delivery of quality ingredients.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to hygiene rules.
• Support the development of new preparation techniques and recipes.
• Operate and maintain butcher and fishmongery equipment safely and efficiently.

Required profile

• 1‑2 years of experience in professional butchery and fishmongery, preferably in luxury hotels or fine‑dining establishments.
• Basic culinary knowledge with the ability to follow detailed instructions.
• Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Precision in handling meat and fish products.
• Good organizational and time‑management abilities.
• Team‑player who can work under pressure and adapt to shift work, including weekends and holidays.
• Current residence in the UAE.
