Junior Data Analyst / Data Scientist (Remote)

About the role

This remote position is ideal for an early‑career data professional who enjoys turning complex datasets into actionable insights. You will support data‑driven decision‑making across multiple industries, including financial services, retail, e‑commerce, logistics, and AI/ML initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze structured and unstructured data using Python, SQL, and statistical methods.
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, anomalies, and business opportunities.
• Develop recurring reports, dashboards, KPIs, and BI solutions.
• Extract, clean, transform, and validate data from diverse sources.
• Support descriptive and statistical analysis for business decisions.
• Build basic predictive and machine‑learning models under senior guidance.
• Assist with forecasting, segmentation, classification, and A/B testing projects.
• Create data visualizations and communicate insights to technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting workflows and data quality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, or Business Analytics.
• Strong foundational knowledge of Python and SQL.
• Understanding of statistics, probability, and data analysis concepts.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
