Junior HR Assistant

About the role

Zahr Freighters is looking for a motivated Junior HR Assistant to support the Human Resources team in Dubai. The role offers an opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands‑on experience in HR administration while working in a fast‑paced logistics environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment activities, such as posting vacancies and scheduling interviews.
• Maintain and update employee records, files, and HR databases.
• Support the onboarding process for new hires.
• Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR‑related documents.
• Coordinate employee attendance, leave records and timesheets.
• Respond to employee inquiries regarding HR policies and procedures.
• Support payroll and benefits administration tasks.
• Help organize employee engagement and training programs.
• Ensure confidentiality of employee information and company records.
• Perform general administrative duties for the HR department.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous HR internship or administrative experience is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Word.
