Junior Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Junior Production Supervisor to lead daily operations at our Sharjah factory. The role combines hands‑on team leadership with technical expertise in coatings manufacturing, ensuring product quality, safety and efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day production operations, driving quality, safety and team performance.
• Oversee all production activities, including raw material store management.
• Guide and direct workforce, assign tasks and provide instructions.
• Ensure manufacturing follows batch cards and management systems.
• Train staff and allocate jobs appropriately.
• Supervise maintenance technicians and conduct equipment checks.
• Coordinate with Production Planner for batch planning and delivery.
• Manage ERP transactions for stock transfer and posting.
• Enforce fire and safety protocols as active fire‑fighting team member.
• Control departmental costs, including overtime.
• Maintain production documentation and ensure compliance with SOPs, QMS, EMS and OHSAS.
• Oversee production line operations and cross‑functional coordination.
• Manage site maintenance, supervising preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Ensure daily plans are followed and stock availability is maintained.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Industrial, Production/Manufacturing or Mechanical Engineering.
• 2–3 years of experience in manufacturing, preferably in chemicals or coatings.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment.
• Understanding of ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Proficiency with Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS) and Health & Safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret batch cards, SOPs and technical documents.
• Experience coordinating preventive and breakdown maintenance.
