Junior Recruiter – Marine & Offshore Oil & Gas

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Junior Recruiter to lead the sourcing and hiring of marine and offshore oil & gas professionals for our client in Abu Dhabi. The role involves managing the full recruitment lifecycle for technical and vessel‑based positions across the GCC and international markets.

Key responsibilities

• Source and attract qualified candidates for specialised roles such as survey engineers, ROV pilots, offshore divers, marine operations engineers, port captains and vessel crew.
• Utilise platforms including LinkedIn Recruiter, Naukri Gulf, Monster, Indeed and Gulf Talent; conduct Boolean and X‑Ray searches, talent mapping and database mining.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and assess technical skills, offshore experience and relevant certifications.
• Coordinate interview schedules, maintain communication with hiring managers and candidates, and ensure a smooth recruitment process.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring marine and offshore vacancies.
• Maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system and support mobilisation documentation.
• Stay updated on market trends, salary benchmarks and talent availability within the marine and offshore sector.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• 5–8 years of recruitment experience, preferably in marine and offshore oil & gas.
• Proven track record recruiting for survey, subsea, ROV, diving and vessel‑based positions.
• Strong understanding of offshore certifications, vessel operations and marine staffing requirements.
• Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder‑management abilities.
