Junior Research Scientist – Stem Cell & Genomics

About the role

The Al‑Sayegh Lab at NYU Abu Dhabi seeks a Junior Research Scientist to support cutting‑edge stem cell and genomics projects. The role involves designing experiments, generating and analysing data, and contributing to scientific publications.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct molecular and cell biology experiments, including mammalian cell culture and stem cell differentiation.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, manage supplies and inventory, and ensure compliance with lab protocols.
• Collect, analyse, and interpret experimental data; assist in preparing presentations and manuscripts.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Bioengineering, Molecular Biology, Biotechnology or a related field.
• Less than five years of professional experience; strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a research environment.
