Junior Swim Coach

About the role

We are looking for enthusiastic Junior Swim Coaches to join our growing team, delivering high‑quality swimming lessons and promoting water safety across school and club programmes. The role involves working with children aged 3‑13, helping them develop confidence and technique in the water.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver safe, engaging, and effective swimming lessons for various age groups.
• Follow programme plans and coaching guidelines.
• Support swimmers in building confidence, technique, and water‑safety skills.
• Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate attendance and lesson records.
• Ensure a safe and positive learning environment at all times.
• Set up and store equipment before and after sessions.
• Communicate professionally with swimmers, parents, schools, and colleagues.
• Assist with swim assessments, events, and programme activities as required.
• Adhere to safeguarding, health and safety, and company policies.

Required profile

• Swim coaching or swimming teaching certification.
• Lifeguard and/or First Aid certification.
• Previous experience in Learn to Swim or competitive swimming programmes.
• Experience working in schools, swim clubs, or aquatic centres.
