Key Account Manager - Oncology

About the role

Becton, Dickinson and Company's BD Interventional (BDI) focuses on surgical, endovascular, urological and critical care devices. The Key Account Manager drives customer centricity by managing relationships with key stakeholders, decision-makers and influencers in key accounts, acting as subject matter expert for the Oncology platform and covering the UAE, Oman, Lebanon and Iraq.

Key responsibilities

• Drive sales revenue and growth within the assigned territory and increase BD's category share in the target market.
• Build strong internal and external relationships to support business growth.
• Engage and develop key opinion leaders, local societies and partners.
• Run strategic market share activities such as account segmentation, targeting and demand generation.
• Implement market development initiatives and new product launches.
• Train distributors on product knowledge and provide awareness and technical support for healthcare professionals.
• Ensure proper positioning, detailing and evaluation of products, and comply with BD tools (SFDC).
• Monitor competitors' activities and gather intelligence on their strategies, products and pricing.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a medical or healthcare discipline.
• 2-3 years of sales experience in the medical devices industry; a portfolio is highly preferred.
• Key account management experience is a plus.
• Demonstrated leadership and business management skills.
• Strong relationship-building skills, self-motivated, excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills.
