Key Account Manager - Sports Retail

About the role

Alassassi Distribution and E-Commerce (Refuel.ae), a Dubai-based distributor and retailer of performance sports and endurance products representing international brands such as Coros, Princeton Carbonworks, Precision Fuel & Hydration, Ciele, Nix Bio Sensors, Veloforte and Huma Gel, is looking for a well-connected Key Account Manager. The role owns and grows retail partnerships across electronics, sports goods, running and cycling stores, turning strong existing buyer relationships into lasting, profitable ones.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and grow key accounts across electronics retailers, general sports goods chains and specialist running and cycling stores
• Use your network to secure new listings, shelf space and in-store visibility
• Negotiate trade terms, pricing and joint business plans with buyers
• Deliver sell-in and sell-out targets while protecting margins
• Plan in-store activations, launches and promotions, and train and support store staff
• Track performance, forecast demand and report on account health
• Work closely with Trade Marketing, supply chain and Finance

Required profile

• 5+ years in key account management or sales within sports, consumer electronics or specialty retail in the UAE
• Strong, active relationships with buyers at electronics chains, sports retailers and specialist running and cycling stores (essential)
• Proven track record of winning listings and growing accounts
• Confident negotiator with solid commercial and numerical skills
• Self-driven and hands-on, comfortable in a fast-growing business
• Genuine interest in running, cycling or endurance sports is a strong plus
• English required, Arabic a plus; valid UAE driving licence
