KG Teacher – Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School (AY 2026/27)

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an enthusiastic Kindergarten (KG) Teacher for Abdulla Bin Otaiba Charter School, an American‑curriculum mixed‑gender primary school in the heart of Abu Dhabi. The role starts in the Academic Year 2026/27 and focuses on delivering high‑quality, inclusive learning experiences that enable every child to progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements and cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system and provide feedback to parents at conferences.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and external specialists such as speech therapists and educational psychologists.
• Maintain a positive classroom environment, manage behaviour in line with school policy, and act as a role model for pupils.
• Participate in school events, extracurricular activities and curriculum action groups.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Kindergarten Education or related field with a PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of KG teaching experience, preferably with learners for whom English is not the first language.
• Professionalism, commitment to child welfare, and a solution‑focused attitude.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check and willingness to reside in the Emirate of the school.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Target Tracker assessment platform.
• Familiarity with the CPOMS safeguarding and communication system.
