KG Teacher – Kindergarten

About the role

The school follows an American curriculum and seeks a passionate KG Teacher to deliver high‑quality education in a vibrant, values‑driven environment. You will join the Aldar family of schools, contributing to the development of young learners in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the full ability range of KG students.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Observe, assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when needed.
• Embed Teacher and Learner DNA language and attitudes throughout the curriculum.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with the school’s policy, acting as a positive role model.
• Communicate student progress to parents/carers during conferences and through regular updates.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, outings and extracurricular activities.
