KG2 Homeroom Teacher (Urgent Hiring)

About the role

GEMS Education is seeking an enthusiastic KG2 Homeroom Teacher to join its team on an urgent basis. The successful candidate will deliver the KG2 curriculum, create an engaging classroom environment, and support the holistic development of young learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high‑quality lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessments and resources.
• Assess, record and report on student progress, adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
• Utilise ICT and media tools effectively in the classroom.
• Promote student well‑being, cultural awareness and a love of learning.
• Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of progress.
• Participate in co‑curricular activities and school events.
• Support safe and appropriate student behaviour, implementing self‑discipline strategies.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of teaching experience, preferably in early years education.
• Teaching qualification such as PGCE or equivalent.
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
• Commitment to GEMS core values and professional development.

Required skills

• Good ICT skills for classroom integration.
