Kids Club Attendant

About the role

Fairmont The Palm, a luxury resort on the Palm Jumeirah in Dubai, is looking for a Kids Club Attendant for its Fairmont Falcons Kids' Club. The role provides a high standard of care and supervision so that children feel safe, welcome and engaged, while keeping the club's environment clean and well stocked.

Key responsibilities

• Follow all Kids Club safety, security, operating procedures and health guidelines at all times.
• Complete registration forms, sign-in and sign-out records and submit them to the Manager.
• Maintain accurate records of children's allergies, medical conditions and care requirements and share them with the team.
• Keep activity areas, equipment and toys clean, tidy and organised; monitor supplies and report needed stock to the Manager.
• Check facilities and equipment regularly and report damage or repair needs to the Manager.
• Report incidents, concerns, guest complaints and suggestions to the Manager immediately, and escalate matters beyond your scope.
• Promote club activities and events, and help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities according to the programme schedule.
• Respond promptly to issues, recognise returning families by name and maintain respectful, professional relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Use English for workplace communication unless assisting a guest in their preferred language.

Required profile

• A recognised qualification in childcare, early childhood education or teaching is preferred.
• Relevant training in Child Protection, Food Hygiene and Paediatric First Aid to international standards.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check and medical assessment in Dubai.
• At least three years of experience in a childcare setting, with strong knowledge of childcare practices.
• Experience working with children aged 0-15 years; strong experience with a particular age group is also valued.
