About the role

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the full ability range of the class.
• Organise classroom resources, create displays and maintain a positive learning environment.
• Observe, assess and record student progress using the Target Tracker system.
• Provide feedback to parents during conferences and other meetings.
• Collaborate with specialists such as speech‑language therapists, occupational therapists and educational psychologists when required.
• Implement the school’s behaviour policy and manage classroom discipline effectively.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events, outings and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Understanding of the American curriculum and early childhood education best practices.
• Ability to motivate and inspire young learners with imaginative teaching methods.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with parents, colleagues and specialists.
• Commitment to reflecting on practice and adapting instruction based on assessment data.
